R T & K Trail Rides and Cabins, LLC

Rules

  • Current negative coggins test and out of state health certificate required.
  • No rough riding or racing.
  • Not responsible for accidents to man or beast.
  • We reserve the right to reject any reservations.
  • All camps must be quiet by midnight. No loud music or noises will be tolerated.
  • All dogs must be on a leash at all times, including on the trails while you are riding
  • EVERYONE IN OUR CAMP OR RIDING WITH US MUST BE REGESTERED. This means that every one must be registered as a visitor and must have a visitor’s pass with them at all times.
  • Please abide by all NO HORSE and NO TRESPASSING signs and please stay on the designated trails or roads.
  • We do not allow the use of sawdust, as can be hauled from local sawmills, for stall bedding as it has become a breeding ground for flies. In order to control the fly population, we must be able to clean the stalls after each ride and let them dry. The use of sawdust as bedding creates a breeding ground for flies because the sawdust never lets the ground dry inside the stalls dry out. Therefore, we do not allow the use of sawdust. You may use straw, wood shavings or chips, or dried pellets.
  • R T & K Trail Rides LLC takes no responsibility for the acts of God. We do not refund or credit for bad weather or unforeseen evens caused by circumstances beyond our control. We make every effort to keep our guests well informed in the event of bad weather, but cannot be held responsible for it.
  • Manure cleaned from pens must be placed in the nearest manure storage wagon. You may not leave manure pile outside pens.
  • Manure left on the campground by animals not in a pen (i.e. at farrier, at trailers in campsites, etc.) must be removed by the end of the day and placed in a designated container. In the event of rain, immediately removing any manure from these areas and placing it in a designated storage wagon will be appreciated.
  • Horses may be tied at your campsite for the length of time it takes to groom and saddle. You may not leave animals tied at your campsite for extended periods of time.
